Dear Readers

On Thursday 14th April The Griffin Wine Club “flight” lands in Mendoza, Argentina for the first time on our world tour. The land of “Paso Doble”, Gauchos, strapping young Polo champions, spectacular scenery ( and that’s not just the chicitas !), Welsh-speaking sheep farmers?!, The Argentine now boasts some of the most innovative and beautifully situated wineries in the world. At the head of the field is the Trapiche estate and we are delighted to have Martin Navesi hosting the evening (alongside the usual Laurel and Hardy show- Linton and yours truly !)
