Dear GWC members, fellow oenophiles and bon -viveurs,

Hopefully it will not be news to you that we have the pleasure of the company of Helen McFarlane of the iconic Yealands winery this Thursday to kick start our viticultural excursions of 2016.
As per our motto (not the Latin one , they don’t do classics in the Antipodes !) they thrive on a highly innovative approach to their wine production resulting in their multiuple award -winning portfolio.

You will see from the menu below that we are offering three of their estate Pinot Noirs on the night for which we make no apology – God created the perfect climate and “terroir’ (sorry !) for this most idiosyncratic of wines on the other side of the world, just don’t tell the Burgundians !

We have some spaces left so “do yerself a favour”, drop the January Dry a couple of days early and get involved.
Worried about getting home because you’ve given Parker the week off ? At the end of the night’s shenanigans crawl into of our four-posters, wake up to the infamous Fletching breakfast- the world’s best known hang-over cure: £80 per couple.
