Frequently Asked Questions

Staying Over?

How long should you stay in Fletching?

As long as you please. As locals, we love Fletching and we just know you will too.

Whether you’re looking for a two-night break, or a proper get-away-from-it-all holiday, you’ll have a great time (we promise.)

There’s so much to see and do in East Sussex, you’ll never run out of ways to while away the days.

What are the best things to do in Fletching?

Honestly, so much. Soak up the best of East Sussex with a ride on the Bluebell Railway or visit to Ashdown Forest or Sheffield Park & Garden.

If you’re here to relax, then simply pull up a chair in the garden, pop a bottle of something lovely, and take in the fresh, Sussex air (we have the best garden views, like ever!).

And we love to share personal recommendations, so feel free to ask us when you’re here. We’re a friendly bunch.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm. If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our pub to relax, have a bite to eat or a little tipple.

Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back.

Check-out is by 11am.

What time is breakfast?

Join us for breakfast (hearty or healthy) between 8-10am every day.

If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast but you can’t quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

Do you have any family-friendly bedrooms?

Yes – most of our Bigger Comfy rooms have space for cots for little ones, and fold-out beds for bigger little ones.

Kids under 2 stay for free. 2-16 are £15 per night.

Can I bring my dog to stay?

Yes, please do. All of our rooms are dog-friendly. Just add your dog to your booking (up to two of your furry friends can stay with you for £15 per night), and we’ll make sure they get a VIP welcome with a super-comfy doggy bed, blanket and tasty tail-wagging treats.

Getting Here

Do you have any parking?

There’s a small car park to the side of the pub which is available on a first-come-first-parked basis.

If this is full, additional parking can be found on street or in the small car park across the road.

How do I get to you via public transport?

You can journey to us via train, stopping at Haywards Heath station, just a 20-minute cab ride away.

You’ll usually find cabs just outside the station and you’ll be with us in a jiffy.
