At the Griffin we are avid fans of cricket. So much so that we have our own cricket club - The Griffin C.C. As a result of the success of the Griffin C.C, another cricket club has been spawned - The Dotties - aka The Dear Old Things -so named after our life president Henry (Blowers) Blofeld.
One of the younger members of the Pullan family dynasty, the owners of The
Griffin Inn, Toby has played for Sussex Youth Teams for the last 3 seasons
and is Captain of Cumnor House School 1st X1. The day of this photo - Toby
had taken 7 wickets for 15 runs and then opening the batting, made 54 not
out, as Cumnor beat St. Andrews, Eastbourne by 10 wickets.
The future of Griffin Cricket look assured!
